About
Serious software, built specifically for modern netball
Not a generic sports app with the words changed. A system designed around how netball clubs actually run a season.
Why NetballOS exists
Netball clubs are run by volunteers with limited time and a great deal of responsibility. They hold personal information about children, take money from parents, make selection decisions that matter enormously to a fourteen-year-old, and are expected to safeguard everyone involved.
Most do it with spreadsheets, a shared inbox and a group chat. That is not a criticism of the volunteers — it is a gap in the software available to them.
NetballOS closes that gap. Trials are the obvious starting point because trial season is the most acute pain, but the platform is deliberately broader: the athlete record, the assessment history, the development plan and the squad all persist across seasons, because that is what makes a club better year on year.
What we build to
Automation with human control
The system generates rounds; a human reviews and locks them. AI analyses ratings; a human selects the team. Eligibility is checked automatically; an administrator can override it with a recorded reason. Automation should remove tedium, not accountability.
Safeguarding is not a feature
Safeguarding and medical information are held as separate, encrypted, separately-permissioned systems. A coach with complete access to their squad cannot reach them. Every read is logged, not just every change. This is included on every plan, including the £5 one.
Nothing that pretends
No button that does nothing. No dashboard showing invented data. No AI that is really an if-statement. If a capability is visible in the product, it is connected to real logic and covered by tests.
Your data is yours
Every major area exports. A club can take a complete copy of its own data at any time — players, registrations, trials, ratings, teams and finance. There is no lock-in beyond the quality of the product.
Where we are
NetballOS is in active development. The architecture, data model, permission system, scheduling engine and design system are complete, and the platform is being built in phases with acceptance criteria at each stage.
If you run a club and would like to be part of the first group onboarded, register your interest.
