Decision support, never the decision
AI in NetballOS is an assistant inside the platform, not the platform. It analyses, highlights, recommends and summarises. A human selector makes and owns every decision.
What AI does
Never autonomous
No AI feature can change a selection. That is enforced by the architecture, not by policy — the AI has no route to write that data.
Always explained
Every recommendation carries its reasoning and the data it was based on. A conclusion that cannot be justified is not shown.
Disagreement analysis
Where selectors diverge sharply on the same player, the pattern is surfaced for human review.
Development summaries
Strengths, development areas and suggested focus, drafted from the assessment record for a coach to edit.
Off by default
AI processing is disabled until your organisation explicitly enables it, having been shown what would be sent.
Names never leave
Player and selector names are replaced with tokens before anything is sent. Safeguarding and medical data are never included, under any configuration.
