Safeguarding Statement
How NetballOS supports clubs in protecting children.
This document is in preparation. NetballOS is in active development and is not yet processing customer data. A complete safeguarding statement reviewed by qualified counsel will be published before the platform is available to clubs.
Our role
NetballOS is a software provider. Safeguarding responsibility rests with the club, its safeguarding officer and the relevant statutory authorities. Our role is to make it easier for clubs to meet that responsibility, and harder for information to reach the wrong person.
What the platform does
- Holds safeguarding and medical records as separate, encrypted, separately-permissioned systems
- Restricts access to designated safeguarding and medical officers — administrators do not inherit it
- Logs every read of a safeguarding record, not only every change
- Provides escalation workflows, configurable retention and a tamper-evident audit trail
- Includes all of the above on every plan, including the £5 one
If you have a concern
If you have an urgent concern about a child, contact your club’s safeguarding officer and the relevant statutory authority immediately. Do not rely on a software provider to escalate on your behalf.
