A netball club holds sensitive information about children. In most software that data sits in the same table as everything else with a flag on it. In NetballOS it does not.
What Safeguard does
Separate by design
Safeguarding and medical records are their own subsystems with their own permissions, encryption and retention. A coach with full access to a squad cannot reach them.
Read access is logged
Not just changes — every time someone opens a safeguarding record, that is recorded with who, when and why.
Consent management
Eight consent types against versioned policies, with evidence and withdrawal. Withdrawing consent creates a new record; nothing is quietly overwritten.
Children’s data controls
Guardian linking, age-aware workflows, data minimisation, configurable retention, export and erasure.
Tamper-evident audit
Every action is written to a hash-chained audit log that can be verified after the fact.
